Celebrities and Hospital Heroes Unite at Bromley FC for Goals 4 GOSH

Bromley FC’s CopperJax Community Stadium played host to a truly special event as sports stars, celebrities, and NHS heroes came together for the latest Goals 4 GOSH charity football match—raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

On Sunday, July 20, Bromley FC’s CopperJax Community Stadium played host to a truly special event as sports stars, celebrities, and NHS heroes came together for the latest Goals 4 GOSH charity football match—raising vital funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

The match saw a team of well-known faces—including Premier League winner Danny Simpson, YouTube star Manny, England Lioness Lianne Sanderson, and TV presenter Liam MacDevitt—take on a team of doctors, nurses, and hospital staff from GOSH. The atmosphere was electric, with fans cheering on both sides in celebration of teamwork, compassion, and community spirit.

Founded in 2021 by Jamie Groves, Regional Development Director at Funeral Partners, and his friend Charlotte Styles, Goals 4 GOSH has now raised over £200,000 for the charity. This year’s fixture was particularly meaningful, as it honoured the incredible work of the hospital staff who care for seriously ill children every day.

“They truly are heroes in every sense of the word,” said Jamie. “It was brilliant to play against them and raise even more money for this important cause.”

Funeral Partners and their funeral plan company Choice proudly sponsored the event, continuing their commitment to supporting families and communities beyond the funeral home.

Earlier this summer, Goals 4 GOSH hosted another standout match featuring Chelsea legend Eden Hazard, which raised an impressive £51,000 for the charity.

Beyond the football, the day was packed with family-friendly fun, including face painting, a children’s tombola, a mobile gaming station, and more—making it a memorable day for all who attended.

A huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, donated, and cheered. Your support helps Great Ormond Street Hospital continue its life-changing work for children and families across the UK.
